Omg the coloring is pwnsome! However, I'm actually going to CRITIQUE it.
Blue bothers me. She's too thick and muscular. You'd think she was some cross-dressing jock dude or on steroids. And since Blue is neither, you really could have done better on her. I'd understand if girls are not your strong point, though. Another thing is that the lines on the lineart could be softer. If you had the lineart on a separate layer than the color, you could have made it have 90% or 85% opacity. It would show off your coloring more and still keep the same effect with the lines. =3
However, Silver, I luff him too. Keep him just the way he is, even though that expression is rather OOC. XD
XD "cross-dressing jock dude or on steroids" That actually made me laugh. I thought something like that about her legs... But eh. I'm still learning and not yet perfect.
I do have the outlines on a separate layer... o.o I always put them on the top and put this layer on 'Multiply' then I make layers under it for the colours. :3 Like one layer for every colour. xD
This pic has one locked layer just to put the others over it. Then three layers for the background, fourteen layers for the character colouration. Skin... Hair... Clothes and all that. And on the top the outlines. Makes nineteen layers.. Woah. That much... I never counted them before... XD;
Anyway. So if the outlines don't come over good enough, I might have made mistakes by hand since I make lineart with ink and feather. :3 Or the scan was not good enough... >_>
I have sooo many layers too. XD I generally have separate layers for each body part/article of clothing and then I don't flatten it when coloring, just in case I think I could change the lines. The multiply thing makes sense, though.
The colouring looks very nice~ Pretty cool of you to finish up the pic. If I did it, it probably would've looked like two torsos frankensteined together.
WIEICHDIEBEIDENLIEBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE >w<
Was ich von diesem wunderschönem(/n ?) Bild denke weißt du ja schon ~
Ich glaube es heißt 'Diesem wunderschönen Bild' Aber Nagel mich bitte nich drauf fest. XD

What does OOC mean? XD;

^_^ I learn colouring by browsing tutorials online... So I have still a lot to learn though.
