I have to ask. All of your artwork is so brightly colored, and I love it! Mine comes out... less shiny... is there a trick, or am I just using the wrong colors? (It's okay if you don't want to tell me...
Before I start my colouration I adjust the contrast of the lineart. That makes the black lines darker and the white stronger.
I assume you have photoshop and use it to colour your pictures? Then before you start a colouration open the lineart in photoshop and adjust the contrast like this: Image --> Adjustments --> Brightness/Contrast There you adjust the contrast to 20+ (For pencil-pictures without black outlines I use a contrast of 25+) When you colour your picture now your colours should be as bright as mine.
I also make light-effects with the dodge tool (Range: Highlights -- Exposure: 50%) That makes the picture a lot shinier. :3

See how strong and fiery his tails came out just by adjusting the contrast. And I think you used the dodge-tool too, right?

Well, Blue and Lance is better than Gold and Lance. Also, Blue had to have met him sometime before, hearing about his plot, otherwise she wouldn't have found Yellow! XD
